Conan and Red Sonja


Here is my latest, fresh off the easel. This was done as a private commission and measures 16" by 24". Oil on board as always.

For those in Arizona: I will be at the Phoenix Comicon this weekend, if you are planning on coming stop by booth # 331 to say hi.

    Nice painting of one of my most favorite fantasy characters!
    On the practical side - assuming that Connan's sword is a rather sharp one, placing its edge on the Connan's broad shoulders could lead to an accidental slashing injury or worse :) But then on the artistic side you would not be able to show its size and construction etc if painted more realistically?
