Finally, some new art I can show. And I am really proud to show this one. This is my first commissioned novel cover. Done for Miserere: An Autumn Tale by Teresa Frohock. It is being published in the summer by Night Shade Books and was art directed by David Palumbo.
Dimensions are 24" by 16" oil on paper on board.
I hope you get more opportunities to make other authors as happy as you've made me. It's stunning!

ReplyDeleteMike, a bit of a late post here, but absolutely stunning man. The reds in that cape are killer, not too mention all of the other subtle color that you have bouncing around the composition.

Mike, Awesome cover! My girlfriend is finishing up the jacket design. I was bugging her for the past two weeks to find out who the illustrator was.
