Cover art for Miserere: An Autumn Tale

Finally, some new art I can show. And I am really proud to show this one. This is my first commissioned novel cover. Done for Miserere: An Autumn Tale by Teresa Frohock. It is being published in the summer by Night Shade Books and was art directed by David Palumbo.

Dimensions are 24" by 16" oil on paper on board.

  5. Awesome! I love the contrast in the design of the two figures in the back ,and the lighting of the overall scene is beautifully done.

  6. Mike, a bit of a late post here, but absolutely stunning man. The reds in that cape are killer, not too mention all of the other subtle color that you have bouncing around the composition.

And, a big congrats on the commish, looking forward to seeing more of your work.

  7. Mike, Awesome cover! My girlfriend is finishing up the jacket design. I was bugging her for the past two weeks to find out who the illustrator was.
